Spring Street Gallery is pleased to announce an exhibit of new abstract oil paintings by Eileen Miller, with an opening reception on Saturday, August 13 from 5 to 7 p.m. Miller continues to explore color, texture and movement with water-base oils, building layers and dimension that result in non-representational paintings containing feeling, depth and beauty. The diverse palettes of each painting experiment with color relationship and tone to create a cohesive visual environment that reach viewers on a non-verbal level. Each colorful painting creates a different response, and, Miller believes, all quietly inspire increased levels of vitality, well-being and serenity. These new paintings are on display from August 13 to August 26.This is Spring Street Gallery’s 40th year of being Block Island’s only art cooperative.
