BIMI would like to encourage students to participate in an art contest to illustrate the biodiversity of Stellwagen Marine Sanctuary in Massachusetts. The contest is open to K-12 students. The deadline is May 15th. Entries can be submitted individually if the students complete them outside of school. The species list is included with the contest guidelines and entry form which can be found at: https://nmsstellwagen.blob.core.windows.net/stellwagen-prod/media/docs/2020-marine-art-contest-announcement.pdf .
BIMI would also love the opportunity to show off our local students’ art work when we reopen. We will provide a display space for copies of entries for at least the first 20 students that want to show off their artwork.
