On Sunday, May 26, 2019 from 3 to 5 p.m., the ChowdaFest at the Block Island Maritime Institute is the place to be and be seen. It’s all about determining, by blind taste test and popular vote, the best chowda on Block Island.
This year 12 restaurant competitors will put their best efforts into convincing between 400 to 500 local “official tasters” that their secret recipe is worthy of being dubbed Block Island’s Best Chowda.
