Board members needed

The following boards and commissions are looking for members. Each of these appointments are made by the New Shoreham Town Council:
The Board of Assessment Review is seeking a Republican-affiliated representative for a three-year term.
The Deer Task Force needs a person for a one-year term.
The Recreation Board has a one year alternate position open.
The Senior Advisory Committee recently asked to have their board expanded to include an alternate, which the Town Council approved.
“All these boards could use help and they are doing some pretty interesting work,” said Town Clerk Molly Fitzpatrick.
Anyone interested can write a letter of application to the Town Council. Anyone with questions about specific boards or committees can contact the Town Clerk’s office at 466-3200, which will put interested applicants in touch with that board or committee’s clerk.
