The following message was provided by the Block Island Medical Center on Wednesday, Nov. 4:
Dear Block Island Community:
We apologize for the late notice but we were just notified that the DOH is increasing their testing capacity for tomorrow. If you are interested in getting a COVID test please sign up BEFORE 3 p.m. today. You can sign up through the crush COVID app or portal.ri.gov.
The Medical Center is working with the DOH to try to add another testing day on Friday. We will send further information as soon as we have it.
