Covid-19 update from Medical Center

The following message was provided by the Block Island Medical Center on Monday, Nov. 23:
Dear Block Island Community:
The case count remains stable at 20 (total known cases since March). There have been no NEW cases reported in the last week. As we all gear up for the Thanksgiving holiday, please use all necessary precautions to keep you and your family safe. 
 
BLOCK ISLAND TESTING
-Walkup testing will be available at the fire barn on Tuesday from 12 to 1p.m. Please bring a completed copy of the attached form. If you feel you may have been exposed to COVID-19, please stay in your car (reach out to Tracy Fredericks for details: (207) 229-6349. As a reminder, fire barn testing is for asymptomatic patients ONLY. If you are experiencing symptoms, please contact the medical center.  
 
-Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, there will be no testing on Thursday. Thursday testing will resume next week.
