Covid is once again spreading on Block Island. This week, on Tuesday alone there were four new positive cases, including one in a vaccinated person.
Masks are absolutely still required for everybody at:
– The Medical Center- Block Island School- Block Island Ferry and terminal-Taxis, Taxi stands, and the BI Shuttle
– In the terminal building and on aircraft at the Block Island and Westerly Airports.- At the U.S. Post Office
Although mask requirements have been greatly reduced, please be vigilant and wear your mask in indoor public spaces, especially if asked by store workers. In RhodeIsland, each business is free to make its own policy.
