The following message was provided by Town Clerk Molly Fitzpatrick on Monday, Oct. 19:
Early voting is available at Town Hall – we’ve had almost 75 voters come through with no lines or waiting. We will have the Town Hall polling place open between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday up to (but not including) Election Day. Early voting is available for anyone who has not applied for a mail ballot. If you got a mail ballot, you can drop the voted ballot off with us and we will get it up to Providence. Please use both envelopes. Use the drop box outside Town Hall, and the sooner the better – we don’t want to have to contend with a last minute problem with the weather. On Election Day the polls will be in the school gymnasium from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3. Please call with any questions!
