Evan Carey recently graduated from the New England Public Power Association’s four-year line worker certification program. The Block Island Utility District provided this training for Evan, which will put him on par with his fellow line workers across the country. He is certified as a journeyman lineman now and was promoted to First Class Line Worker at BIUD.
