Free virtual Alzheimer’s conference

The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America will host a free virtual Alzheimer’s educational conference for Rhode Islanders on Tuesday, Dec. 7, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. as part of its Educating America Tour. The conference is open to all and will allow participants to learn from and ask questions about health, caregiving, and long term care. To register, go to www.alzfdn.org/tour.Sessions during the conference will include: “Why a will is not enough,” “Preparing the care: Resources for family caregivers,” and “Type 3 diabetes: Metabolic dysregulation and failed bioenergetics in Alzheimer’s disease.”
