Silent Auction at Block Island Maritime InstituteBIMI will be holding a silent auction on August 17 and 18 from 4 to 7 p.m. Featuring items from over 30 local businesses, there will be gift certificates, gift baskets, and lots of other cool stuff including fishing charters, yoga classes, Patriots Club level tickets for opening day, and Delta Airline tickets to anywhere in the Continental United States.
Summer Symphony at the Sullivan House
Join the Block Island Chamber of Commerce and the Sullivan House in an elegant evening of music and cocktails. Members of the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra will be playing under the tent on Wednesday, August 18. Mocktails, cocktails, and hors d’oeuvres begin at 5 p.m., performance begins at 6 p.m. Tickets are $45 and can be purchased at the Chamber office in Old Harbor or at Eventbrite (search for Summer Symphony).
