Starting on March 15, traffic on High Street will be one way only – southbound (from town towards the school) until past the construction site. Mondays through Thursdays, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The construction site will start at the school and move slowly towards the Eureka Hotel. You will not be able drive past the construction to get into town. Traffic will be detoured to Pilot Hill Road. Allow for extra time if you are going to town or the ferry from points south or the school side of the construction site. There will also be a construction crew on Payne Road. Please avoid using Payne Road as a throughway.
If you are a parent or staff at the school, look for emails regarding parking, pick up/drop off procedures. Your patience is needed to make this a successful and safe project.
