The Gaffett family hopes that the Block Island community will come together to celebrate the life of Lew Gaffett at a graveside service at the Island Cemetery on Thursday, Aug. 29, at 12 p.m. All are invited to a reception of good cheer and storytelling immediately following at Old Island Pub. Donations may be made to the Fred Benson Scholarship Fund.
