Message from the Town Manager

With summer behind us, the Town of New Shoreham is looking to complete several water/sewer and road work/paving projects started last spring.
Beginning the week of October 18, paving crews will be working on Pilot Hill Road from High Street to where the pavement ends; Payne Road from the school to where the paving currently ends; and High Street to the entrance of the Atlantic Inn. At this time we do not anticipate closing any of these roads unless conditions change, or unexpected surprises warrant. While weather dependent, I anticipate these paving projects will be completed by mid-November. Those who find they must drive in these areas during the project may on occasion experience delays in getting to the school and Medical Center. We will do our best to mitigate any inconveniences.Another paving project is West Beach Road from Corn Neck Road to the transfer station. Paving will take place beginning on October 18 through October 22. West Beach Road will be closed with the exception of local traffic. It was determined it is best to close the transfer station during this paving project to allow us to complete it more quickly. So from October 18-22 the transfer
