For the third consecutive summer, Eileen Miller and John Warfel will exhibit their art together at the Spring Street Gallery from Saturday, Aug. 15 through Aug. 28 with an opening reception held Saturday, Aug. 15, from 5 to 7 p.m. Please stop by to see us as we gather outside on the front lawn to enjoy some refreshments and walk through the gallery in small groups to view Eileen’s colorful abstract expressionistic oil paintings and John’s Raku pottery and woodworking.
Eileen continues to work with a palette knife and built-up layers of paint to experiment with color combinations and textural movement. The overall effect is one of quick spontaneity and freedom which conveys a joyful energy. “Painting has always been a way for me to connect with a peaceful yet vibrant place within myself and throughout nature. I am grateful for this creative outlet during stressful times. It is my hope that my original pieces are inspirational to others.”
