A new collaborative that hopes to bring artists and craftspeople together has quietly popped its head up in the past week.
On Island Collaborative is offering the very first in what it hopes will eventually be a series of workshops offered in public spaces focusing on a variety of different crafts.
In a press release sent to The Block Island Times, the On Island Collaborative is “a newly formed non-profit that seeks to expand economic opportunities for island maker-entrepreneurs and micro-industries.”
The group has put together a board of directors that includes: Benjamin Martin – President; John Warfel
