Interstate Navigation has announced a new procedure for vehicle reservations for the 2022 summer season on Block Island. As travelers to Block Island begin to plan their trips for the summer, many people spend hours and hours on the phone, working to secure a vehicle reservation. For some it involves multiple days of dialing, and redialing, and finally getting through, and then waiting on hold. The wait times could be reduced this year, however.Interstate Navigation is introducing a phased call-in approach to vehicle reservations for next summer. Under the plan, there will be specific windows of time in which to make vehicle reservations for 2022. Interstate is currently accepting reservations for trips through June 17. Starting in January, the reservation schedule will be as follows:On January 3, reservations will open for trips on June 18 through July 11, 2022.On January 6, reservations will open for trips on July 12 through August 1, 2022.On January 10, reservations will open for trips on August 2 through August 22, 2022.On January 13, reservations will open for trips on August 23 through October 10, 2022.Call the reservation office at (866) 783-7996, ext.3, when the desired trip date window opens to secure a
