The following was submitted by the Southeast Lighthouse Foundation:
After restoration of the Southeast Lighthouse tower, the lens at the lighthouse will be relit during the day on Thursday, Oct. 17.
Later that same day, the community is invited to gather at 5 p.m. to celebrate the newly restored lighthouse tower and the relighting of the the historic First-order Fresnel Lens.
There will also be a community photo taken at 5:30 p.m. that day.
All are invited.
