When the words conservation, ecology, and environment occur in the same sentence, Carl Safina’s name is sure to follow. The Block Island Maritime Institute (BIMI) is delighted to host world-renowned author, environmentalist and ecologist Carl Safina for an exciting Tuesday Talk on Aug. 6, 2019 at 7 p.m.
Dr. Safina is featured in “Bluefin,” a 53-minute documentary investigating the decline of the bluefin tuna stocks that will be presented at BIMI on Monday, Aug. 5 at 7 p.m.
