Southeast Lighthouse reopens to public

The Southeast Lighthouse Foundation is pleased to announce the opening of the newly restored Southeast Lighthouse Museum on Thursday, July 15th, 2021. For the first time in 30 years, a portion of the lighthouse keepers’ quarters will reopen as a museum of lighthouse and island history. After July 15th, the museum will open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Labor Day weekend, then weekends in the fall.Lighthouse Museum Admission: $10 adults; seniors (65+), active military and students (10 to 16) $8; children 9 and under, free with accompanying adult. Free admission to museum shop.
Additionally, escorted tours of the recently restored lighthouse tower will be available again on a limited basis. No reservations are needed or taken and those interested in tower tours will be accommodated as space and staffing permits. First tour of the day at 11 a.m., last tour at 3 p.m.
Escorted Tower Tour: adults $15,; seniors (65+), active military and students (10 to 16) $12; children 9 and under free, with accompanying adult—if space permits.
