On Thursday, May 23, the Spring Street Gallery will be hosting an exhibition of Block Island High School students’ artwork. This show will be a survey of works produced by art students in grades eight through 12 and will include drawings, paintings, collages, and ceramics all created in a variety of artistic styles.
These students have learned about artistic movements such as Fauvism and Surrealism, as well as drawing techniques including grid drawings, upside-down drawings, gesture drawings and studies in foreshortening. Their
