A local business owner is challenging other businesses to invest in Block Island’s healthcare by donating up to $200,000 in matching funds for gifts made towards the capital campaign by October 15.
Under this capital campaign “Business Challenge,” each gift, of any size, from a Block Island business will trigger a $2,000 matching gift from the donor up to a total possible match of $200,000. The Block Island Medical Center not only treats residents and visitors, but plays a vital role to businesses by taking care of their employees all summer long.
Gifts made during this campaign will go towards the multi-million renovation and expansion project that will ensure it serves Block Island’s healthcare needs today and in the future.
