The MV Global Symphony, built in 2011, is an offshore support vessel complete with a crane and a helicopter landing-pad on its deck. Here to assist in the cable replacement for the Block Island Wind Farm, it will most likely be gone within the next two weeks. Its presence wowed islanders over the weekend, before the fog set in and obscured her view from the shore.
