The following announcement was provided by Harbormaster Kate McConville on Monday, Nov. 23: Good evening, I was notified late this afternoon storm water may have been discharged into the Great Salt Pond, and out of an abundance of caution, the Pond will be closed to shellfishing for 48 hours. The incident is under full investigation.
