For the third year in a row, the Committee for the Great Salt Pond is holding its annual photo scavenger hunt. The contest runs from July 9 through August 12. Last year there 48 winners, double that of the prior year.This year’s challenge is to photographically “spell out” the words “clam flats” through a series of photos that are representative of each letter.Instructions:• Take photos with your iPhone or digital camera of nine objects whose first letter spells out clam flats. An example would be to take a photo of a chain, which gives us the “C” in clam. A photo of a lemon would give us the letter “L” and so on until you spell out clam flats.• Then prepare your email. Attach your nine photos and include an explanation on how each photo represents the letter. Example: Photo of chain represents first letter “C” of clam flats.
