Elizabeth Doherty’s first exhibition, “Meditations on Color,” will feature a collection of mixed media and textile work of abstracted landscapes and hidden textures, inspired by the natural and ephemeral surroundings found on Block Island. The opening reception is Saturday, July 13 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Spring Street Gallery.
