The following was provided by Postmaster Becky Brown on Monday, Nov. 2:
There will be no mail coming to or leaving the island today. I urge anyone that still has a RI election ballot to put it in the box at Town Hall and not in a mailbox. If you have a ballot for another state, please bring it to the Post Office window before we close today (by 1:30 p.m. if possible) and we will barrel stamp it with today’s date. Some states accept a postmark by Tuesday, Nov. 3 and some do not.Thank you,Becky BrownPostmaster
