Members of the island’s local mental health task force — NAMI-BI — are putting the final touches on their third annual conference in observance of May as Mental Health Month. With the first two events centering respectively on the opioid crisis and depression, the focus this year is on the well-being of youngsters.
Scheduled for the weekend of May 17 and May 18, the title of the conference is “Children and Teens: Won’t They Just Grow Out of it?”
