The Senior Advisory Committee is asking anyone who are willing to help Island seniors who may be limited in their access to grocery shopping,picking up a take-out meal, or even to do the few errands.
The Committee has not had any direct requests to date, but they do not know how long they will be sequestered at home. They want to be prepared to help where and when they can.
If you wish to help, please provide them with a phone number, at which they might reach you to speak or by text.
Also, please let them know if you have some limitations in terms of what you can offer — or whatever is within your comfort level. The Committee is grateful for any help you can offer.
