Tom Kalb is presenting his black and white silver gelatin prints at the Spring Street Gallery, with an reception open to the public on Saturday, July 6 from 5 to 7 p.m.
The exhibit, titled “What I really meant to see,” includes images from The Maze, the network of meandering woodland and shoreline trails down Corn Neck. Kalb works entirely with film, not digital processing, relying on an old Pentax 6×7 medium format camera to produce 120mm negatives that he develops in his attic on Block Island.
