Town Council reschedules meeting for May 13

The Town Council was scheduled to continue its discussion on the town’s emergency ordinance on Monday, May 11, but due to technical difficulties and councilor Chris Willi not being able to attend, the meeting has been moved to Wednesday, May 13 at 4 p.m.
First Warden Ken Lacoste noted that a broken pipe that caused Town Hall to be evacuated and closed created some connectivity issues as the councilor’s tried to connect from home. The councilors were also unable to receive comments from town residents and business owners who had specific questions about the ordinance.
Councilor Willi was on the mainland and planned to return in time by plane, “but the plane had to turn around because of the fog,” said Lacoste.
“Hopefully we will be able to receive comments at that time. We will talk with you on Wednesday at 4 p.m.,” said Lacoste.
