Recreation Department Director Dave Sniffen has announced that the Fred Benson Beach Pavilion is now open with limited services.
According to Sniffen, the Beach House restrooms will be open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. There is a lifeguard on duty. Showers are not open yet due to COVID-19 restrictions, and he is hoping the concession stand will be open starting Friday, June 20. Beach chairs and umbrellas can also be rented seven days a week between 9 a.m. and 4:45 p.m., which Sniffen said will be sanitized after every use.
