During her press briefing today, Monday, June 15, Gov. Gina Raimondo addressed issues raised about passengers on the Block Island Ferry not wearing masks this past weekend:
Raimondo said her office had received “a lot of complaints over the weekend: too crowded and very few people wearing masks. I want to address that for a second. We got a lot of phone calls and emails. Everybody should know they [Interstate Navigation] were doing their best to enforce the rules and they put an additional ferry on to get folks back from the island.
