The Block Island Summer Comedy Series returns to Yellow Kittens on Sunday, May 27 at 8 p.m.
This will be the first of four shows throughout the summer, the others being July 15, Aug. 26, and Oct. 7. The summer-long series is in its fourth year, and this year will feature comedians whose credits include appearances on MTV, Comedy Central, Netflix, and many other venues. The show is emceed by former island resident Ben Smith.
Coming out to the island on Sunday, May 27 are comedians Sam Ike, Marie Forster, and national headliner Gordon Baker-Bone. Baker-Bone has written for MTV, appeared on Sirius XM and AXS TV’s Gotham Comedy Live, and was named one of Brooklyn’s Funniest People by Brooklyn Magazine. Baker-Bone has also been featured in the New Jersey Comedy Festival, Las Vegas Comedy Festival, and regularly headlines at clubs all over the tri-state area.
Tickets are only $10 and will be available at the door. Seating starts at 8 and the show starts at 8:30 p.m.
