Message from BIPCo President Jeffery Wright

The Block Island Power Company Team met on Wednesday, March 18 to discuss the best way to continue serving our community while keeping ourselves safe and healthy. Our focus is on always being available 24/7 to respond to outages and emergencies and we will never waiver from our core mission. The following services have been modified in response to the virus as shown below: 
Office Hours: The office is closed to all in-person transactions. We encourage everyone to pay electronically, by dropping your payment in the white drop box out front or by mail. The office will be staffed Monday-Wednesday-Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. to process payments, receive member inquiries/calls and to respond to other electronic communications. 
Call Center: Our back up call center (CRC) is still fully operational (they have a great pandemic response plan that includes infrastructure to answer calls remotely to protect their employees)and will continue to answer your calls outside of the hours I’ve posted above. They have our direct lines and will contact us immediately if needed.
