Update from the Island Free Library

The following update was shared by the Island Free Library staff on Tuesday, June 2:
Dear Island Library Users,
Beginning June 2, the Island Free Library staff will be out front to assist you with your library pickup or item selections. For library pickup, please see our Island Free Book Request Form, included below and attached.
While the Island Free Library building will remain closed, we are happy to offer library hours outside our building on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Our librarians will have masks on and will follow all appropriate safety precautions. We ask that you do the same while on library property.
As well as circulating library materials, we plan to assist you with your copying, faxing, scanning, printing, and basic computer needs.
Online programming will continue on our YouTube channel and via our Facebook page.
This plan aligns with the state guidelines of the Phase 2 reopening in Rhode Island and the library state offices’ recommendations for libraries.
We will continue to monitor the situation as well as your library requests as we move forward and adjust the plan
