The Block Island Power Company is making steady progress on its voltage conversion project thanks to the help of crews from subcontractor Three Phase Line Construction. The above pictures were taken on Connecticut Avenue where three old transformers (pictured at left) were replaced with new ones on a recently installed, higher pole. The work to

The program was not a resounding success, according to the report given by Judy Clark to the Motor Vehicles for Hire Commission. Clark organized and ran the program for the summer, and provided a wealth of information to thecommission on February 16.
